Malaysian Schools Dominate International Debate Competition

KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 (Bernama) -- Kolej Islam Sultan Alam Shah of Klang, Sri Ayesya Islamic School of Bandar Baru Bangi and Sekolah Menengah Islam Hidayah emerged the winners of the International Students' Debate Competition which ended today.

The schools won the Arabic, English and Malay language categories respectively in the competition which started on Thursday.

Musleh Berhad chairman Megat Mohamed Amin Megat Mohamed Nor said the competition attracted 158 participants from 40 teams, including two from Indonesia.

The competition was organised by the Pertubuhan Ikram Malaysia, Musleh Bhd, International Islamic University Malaysia and International Centre for Educational Excellence Berhad.
